Medium: Brush pens, ink and Adobe Photoshop.

Inspiration is key to an artist’s creative process. To most, it’s an unending struggle to search for that extra push to produce a vision. As for Pop Art pioneer Andy Warhol, the inspiration for possibly his greatest work is… chicken soup. Or at least that’s what I like to think. There has been a lot of speculation as to what motivated Warhol to create his iconic 32 Campbell’s Soup Cans. Some say it was from his mother’s flower sculptures made out of tin cans. Some say it’s his affinity for Campbell’s soup. I’d like to imagine that a sip of Chicken Soup on a bitter New York winter evening is what sparked his creative juices.

I know a piping-hot bowl of chicken soup on a snowy Indianapolis evening will hit the spot for me.
